Hearings are held at the J. Bratton Davis United States Bankruptcy Courthouse, 1100 Laurel Street, Columbia, South Carolina in front of Judge Gasparini.

Attorneys should consult chambers regarding their appearances. For the latest notes for upcoming court hearings, check on 13Network.

Meeting of Creditors Information

IMPORTANT: Beginning October 18, 2023, Meetings of Creditors will be held by Zoom. You can find more information on these documents. 

As of August 24, 2026, the preferred method for you to join the 341 Meeting of Creditors is by using the new 341 Zoom Portal provided by the National Data Center (NDC.org).

This portal will streamline the processes of verifying yourself and making sure your camera and microphone are working properly

For the Meeting of Creditors, debtors must provide one document from each category below:

Proof of Photo Identification

  • Driver's License
  • Government Picture ID
  • Military Picture ID
  • Resident Alien Card
  • State or Student Picture ID
  • US Passport

Proof of Social Security Number

  • Original Social Security Card
  • Social Security Report
  • Original W-2 or IRS Form 1099
  • Original Pay Stub with Full SS Number
  • Medicare Card
  • Military ID
